Why don't you tell us what kind of SCSI card it is that you are trying to install?

How did you do this for Windows 2000?

Have you tried adding the drivers to the CD? (i.e. making a custom CD)

Are you sure the drivers you have are certified for Windows 2003? Not all Windows 2000 drivers will work with Windows 2003...

the driver are for HP DL360

I can send you the drivers if need be.... they work on many 2003's that I have go and running.

2000= used a winnt.sif file but 2003 OS sturcture is different and they MS wants you to use ADS....

I tried to make a cab and add it but got lost in all the write ups on green machine....

I also have one that loads the drivers but doesn't work with the unattend.txt or winnt.sif,, you have to have manual input...

my email is also luv_Lafs@yahoo.com. that way we can work this out and i can send you what i have......done

if you can help me thanks.

  • 4 weeks later...

Which model of HP DL360? A G2 / G3 ?

If so then you could use the method I have described @

http://209.15.130.236/users/patricks/artic...ows/bootablecd/

I use this with HP DL 360 G2+G3/380 G2+G3/580 G2/585 and it works fine.

There is no difference in the install structure or procedure between Windows 2000 and Windows 2003. For some drivers you may need to use a different driver for Windows 2003 but that's rare and it certainly dosn't apply to the HP DL 300 series.
