Sound card on front case headphone connectors

Featured Replies

I was thinking about getting a sound card instead of using the onboard sound that i am using right now. So what kind of sound would i be able to hook up the front headphone jacks to!?

Thanks for all the help :)

Front headphone jacks? :)

I'm assuming that you want a sound card that will give you headphone jacks in the front of your PC? There are a couple of brands that come with drive bay adapters that let you plug almost all your sound gear into the front of your PC.

Something like this - Soundblaster

Well i think i worded my other post wrong :) . But i already have existing jacks on my case..... But i would be able to hook that card up to the existing jacks, right?

Nonono, if you get a new sound card, it will go into one of your PCI slots. You can then disable your onboard sound card in your computers BIOS. The new sound card will have it's own jacks that you'll use from then on.
