enuffsaid
You might want to take a look at Systernal's free BGInfo http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/bginfo.shtml.You may find it incorporated in many of the WindowsXP rescue CDs that can be found on the Internet, and is very configurable.Check out the link for a detailed explanation and screenshots.Kind regards,eNuffSaidEDIT... Sorry not a reg tweak either, but at 100K download, you'll find it one of the smallest around. Check out some of their other cool apps too! stretched
I found a tool that admins can run on a network and get anything they want. Advanced Remote Info (ARI) has all you need to remotely manage a 200/XP network. You can not only see the basic processor info, but you see user name, product key, running process, services, installed applications, even desktop screen shots. I can also force shutdown and reboot. The link http://masterbootrecord.de/english/advancedremoteinfo.php. Just thought you might like it. It has been a great tool for me so far
