cancer10 Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 I have activated my windows 2003 but I get the following error at windows startup."Service Control Manager - At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use event viewer to examine the event log for details"I have seen the event log and it says an error in Windows Product Activation .This error did not came until i installed hotfix (Service Pack)for windows 2003 server. I have un-installed windows 2003 hotfix still the problem persist.I don't want to see this error. Please suggest me something.

prathapml Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 If your windows server 2003 is less than licensed/legit, then you will start having problems like these with the release of every new Service Pack.Either don't upgrade, or go out and buy a proper version.
