Enlarge Desktop icons

Hi i would like enlarge my desktop icons.

i have tried this: right click on desktop > properties > appearance > effects then ticking 'use large icons'.

- when i do that it makes the icons in the start menu large as well and i dont want this to happen. is there a way just to make the desktop icons larger?

Almost there

Rt. click desktop > Properties > Appearnace > Advanced.

From the select box, choose Icon and set the size accordingly.
