koden Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 If I burn my XPCD folder to my RW and after that install it on my Ibm thinkpad T40 it is working fine. Nice unattended installation.If I use same RW disk on my compag presario 4620 I get errors on different files in the i386 folder.I have tryed more than one time, and it is different files each time.Anyone who no why that can be???

jrzycrim Posted July 17, 2004 Posted July 17, 2004 Is the CD-ROM on your compaq an older drive? I know some older CD-ROM drives have trouble reading CD-RW media.
