July 16, 200422 yr I've removed the games from add remove programs via sysocmgr but the Games folder in the start menu is still there. If I try and delete it from DOS via RD it says the directory is not empty, but it definately is. I've also tried removing all the attributes and the security settings but still no luck. If you look at its properties via the GUI the read only box is gray. You can cycle through the three states using the mouse and delete it via the GUI but I'm still unable to delete it via DOS. Any ideas.
July 17, 200422 yr use nlite it removes the games , make sure u use it only on a clean version of xp/2k/2k3 so its not missing files or giving u errorsregards
July 17, 200422 yr think you can also do it with winnt.sif - [Components] zonegames=off freecell=off hearts=off minesweeper=off pinball=off solitaire=off spider=off
July 17, 200422 yr that only shuts them off, so they arent being applied 2 your cd, but sounds like hes trying 2 remove them
July 19, 200422 yr Author Yes, I've used the winnt.sif code but the actual Games folder appears for all users even though it is empty. What is nlite and where do I find it?
