Curv Boll
Hi there,ERD....should be used to at first create a list of how your current boot sequence and mft. then when you have a problem booting up or locating a partition you can use this disk to replace anything like boot files that have corrupt or missing.Recovery console can also be used to do this but requires further knowledge on your part. Recovery console can be used to repair a corrupt registry or add any system file.Boot disk is just a disk to boot the machine from which as you guessed it, contains the boot files.Basically ERD or Recovery console can be used for the same type of tasks however the recovery console can do a lot more since there is room for so many commands.Hope this helps
