darthyoda6
I was wondering about the 2.whatever version of the framework. Is it in beta or can we install it instead of the 1.1 version?
fillalph
I installed the beta version. The one problem I had was that nLite kept telling me to download and install the 1.1 version. Until he fixes that I will be staying with 1.1.]Bonkers[
Alanoll
Microsoft is supposed to be releasing a public beta of .NET framework soon.....Framework v2 is considered BETA software, so if you're not a hardcore coder and design programs and want to see the direction Microsoft is taking with the framework, stick with 1.
darthyoda6
Thanks. I just asked becuase I finally ran windows update and it kept popping up. Also, if you wanted to use the VB.net 2005 express you needed to install the version 2. But since I don't use that many programs that need the Framework. THen I guess case closed for now. I also didn't know that it was beta or I wouldn't have asked.
GreenMachine
Sounds good to me! Generally, I don't bother with beta in XPCREATE: I hate to do work, only to find the final release renders it in vain ...
