Installing problems with SATA HDD to Win2000/WinXP

I can't install windows XP PRO on my computer... I've tried CD,FLOPPY,SCSI order...F6 Load the driver with floppy disk. And it doesn't see my 80G HDD...instead its seeing an 118MB unknown adapter?? Will someone please help me to install windows2000/Winxp pro.

I recently did a SATA HDD installation and had the same problem. You have to go into the BIOS and look and see if the SATA controller is disabled, mine was so I enabled it and it saw it. If it is an onboard controller then go into the integrated peripherals.
