Installing problems with SATA HDD to Win2000/WinXP

:rolleyes: I can't install windows XP PRO on my computer... :) I've tried CD,FLOPPY,SCSI order...F6 Load the driver with floppy disk. And it doesn't see my 80G HDD...instead its seeing an 118MB unknown adapter?? Will someone please help me to install windows2000/Winxp pro.

I recently did a SATA HDD installation and had the same problem. You have to go into the BIOS and look and see if the SATA controller is disabled, mine was so I enabled it and it saw it. If it is an onboard controller then go into the integrated peripherals.
