Lebanese_007 Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 HI all, i have been browsing this website and saw the poll for which broswer do you use... Firefox is way more than IE (which i use) and it is way more secure so i decided to try firefox... i discovered on some websites javascript doesn't work... i did a search and found a site, it recommeneded to install j2re-1_4_2_05-windows-i586-p-iftw and i did.. and still doesn't work... under tools, options, web features, both Java and Java scripts are checked... and still doesn't work... then i went under tools, JavaScript Console, i found alot of erros, like "Error: document.all has no properties" and "Error: Uncaught exception: Permission denied to get property Window.sponsorAd" and stuff like that... BTW everything is working with IE.. any ideas??? thanks

BTW everything is working with IE.. any ideas??? thanksi also read that about firefox and also have the same idea as you to try firefox. i also have the same problem as you; i cant login at MCN(lookalike of MSNchatrooms) and also cant login some pages what need a sort of plugin as for example macroflashplayer (i am not sure about that name) what will show a flash movie. i installed it 3 times and it dont work with firefox so i returned back to explorer.i dont like switch between browser because the one remember a setting, a url or a password for a site and the other i have to fill it again and backwards is the same.i also try opera and that was really heavy, firefox is really better and userfriendly than opera is.
