trm96 Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 I want to be able to use a modified shell32.dll, and explorer.exe files in my unattended XP install how do i go about doing this? I have tried putting them in \$OEM$\$$\System32 but when setup goes to the gui part of setup it errors.
XtremeMaC Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 in order to put your own modified windows file checker marked files u'll have to disable the sfc first.. or modify the sfc marked files list which is sfcfiles.dll....
Aaron Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 See http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/hacked_files.htm to find out how to prevent Setup from showing a copy error on modified files
