Keynan Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 From the thread found HERE I understood that in order to install KB835732 Hotfix, I must have NetMeeting installed on my computer... Is there a way to bypass it, as I really don't want it on my computer???? Any solution (accept for installing NetMeeting) will be blessed! Important fact is that in order to install it, I had to do it twice (but I didn't install Netmeeting, thogh): install, reboot, install again... Just after the 2nd time Windows Update marked it as installed update...No need to mention that this isn't good enough, because I want it to be automated!!!
ykolomiyets Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 Use that in a batch:put the inf file in <PATH> and required files in <PATH>\i386. it will not install netmeeting, just will copy the files needed for update.%WINDIR%\System32\rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 <PATH>\msnetmtg.inf
