LordMatanza
I've created my own unattended XP Pro install, the install works without any problems. But when the applications start to install, they give the errors that the install path is not correct etc.I checked by looking at the %systemdrive%\Install\ folder. It seems that all files and folders have been renamed to dos-names...For example: "Acrob~1".This wouldn't be a big problem if it would only happen to the folders, but also the setup files get renamed, and then the install fails.Does anybody know what is going on and how I can solve it? XtremeMaC
either use 8 digit folder and file names or put "" around the path names and file names.
LordMatanza
That is not the answer i was hoping for, because that is impossible. The $OEM$\$1\Install directory is being copied to the hard disk by the windows installer itself, so i can't do anything about it.Second it's quite hard to change every file name to dos-names, look for example at the microsoft office install. There are A LOT OF files in there and if you change them the installer won't work.So does anybody else got some solutions?
ZoSTeR
Are the file names correct on your cd?Maybe you turned off Joliet file names while burning the cd/creating the iso?
