Well after letting my system sit at my parents for a few months, i went and pluged everything back in and to my dismay on boot i get one long repeting beep. I think its the memory but i have swaped all the cards and mem...anyone got an idea..i might have to clear the cmos, but thats my last option..anyone know what i should do?

I have delt with this problem many times in the past and most of the time its just a loose stick of ram or some hardware is not setted right.but in this case i couldent figure it out at all. I poped out the Cmos bat as well as the power cord, pressed the power button a few times and let it set for a few mins. Poped the bat cak in and restarted...and all was well! **** funky a** computers!

And i still dont know what the hell was up?!?!?

:)
