I'm a newbie so please don't get ticked at me for asking.

Is it possible to specify an installtion directory to install off cd with the runonce.cmd?

Can't believe everyone puts all apps in C:\program files. Or do they and I'm the weird one?

Thanks Much!

It depends on the application's installer. Most things that run in silent mode don't let you choose the installation directory. Exceptions are the big, major programs like Microsoft Office.

You can try running the setup.exe for the program with /r and seeing if a setup.iss file is created. If so, it should contain the settings you used to install the program (including the directory).

Thanks for the reply's.

I did the MS OFFICE auto install "wizard" custom, and set it up to load to D:\program files however, it still goes to C:\program files. I can live with it as long as it works :)

I'll try the others and look for the iss file you speak of.

Thanks Again!
