  1. A freind of mine turned me on to this forum and the unattend guide. Being a newbie, I have spent that last few days reading the guide frontwards and back. I'm working on an XP PRO unattend DVD and have some apps load from cmd at the t12 mark and others load from runonce. I have a major problem with V2i to load unattend. While my freind was able to get it to go, I am unable to with the same exact files. Also, dot net gives me probs. I found if I run a seperate runonce with just dot.net it loads fine. So very strange. I have some apps go on like butter but the ones with .msi extention are driving me nuts. Been spending a lot of time on this and probably I'm missing something easy. I use snippets from this forum for as many apps as I can, and some of them work and some not. My major problems right now are: Mailwasher pro Tweak XP V2i Dotnet whereisit Partition Magic I have worked and worked on this with reformatting and reinstalling from the DVD. The SIF file is great. Loads drivers etc. So I know I'm getting somewhere. A little help would be appreciated big time. Maybe a better explanation of the q/ qn/s switches would help too. Thanks, GB
  2. Thanks for the reply's. I did the MS OFFICE auto install "wizard" custom, and set it up to load to D:\program files however, it still goes to C:\program files. I can live with it as long as it works I'll try the others and look for the iss file you speak of. Thanks Again!
  3. I'm a newbie so please don't get ticked at me for asking. Is it possible to specify an installtion directory to install off cd with the runonce.cmd? Can't believe everyone puts all apps in C:\program files. Or do they and I'm the weird one? Thanks Much!
