I am trying to achieve the following with the way my windows explorer opens by default.

+ My Docs expanded and selected

+ C:\ Expanded

- No control panel

hi, there is reg tweaks for the default page it opens, search ...

not sure about deleting the control panel tho

Yeah I've seen those reg hacks around.. just cant remember where.

I know about the command line tweaks - but I dont think they can do what I want.

Thanks Im pretty good with google, but there is too much noise. All the stuff that comes up is an explorer.exe command switches.

Also dont forget groups.google.com (invaluable)

I'll post it if I find it

been playin around on vmware heres what i got..

C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,"%userprofile%\My Documents"

works 4 me

Nope thats not what I want, I know about command line switches. They wont work. I need a reghack.
