is this directx 9.0c an official one? is this made by microsoft?

anyproblem with it? anyone tested it? and whats that critical update for directx from microsoft? is there any relation between that update and directx 9.0c?

1st of all which dx9.0c are u talking about?

anyways yes dx 9.0c is in beta stage its to be released soon. I don't think that critical update upgrades to 9.0c

Hello,

DirectX 9.0c is included in the XP Service Pack 2 RC2. For those of you who have the RC2 installed, go START => RUN and type "dxdiag" without the quotes to bring up the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. The last line will state that you have DirectX 9.0c.
