jdgordon Posted July 3, 2004 Author Posted July 3, 2004 ok uploaded a new version... hopefully everything is fixed.... hopefully.i didnt get around to adding the guirunonce stuff coz i want to do some work on other projects of mine and this is finished enough... so if u want to do that make sure u edit the file manually to add it before installing.. maybe during the week ill do it.
Bilou_Gateux Posted August 15, 2004 Posted August 15, 2004 I agree with (Gely @ Jul 1 2004, 11:43 PM)another cool settings will be an automated (/silent) install/callMaybe make the install confirmation windows (which resume selected settings) optional would be fine ?either use a /s or /silent switch to avoid this, or use a /v or /verbose switch to have a final confirmation before running winnt32.exe would be nice in next release.and a small typo / cosmetic error i've noticed in the settings.ini file[Settings]/unattend:/noreboot: <<<switch don't accept any value, no need of :/makelocalsource: <<<switch don't accept any value, no need of :/syspart:C/tempdrive:c/s:%systemdrive%\winxp\i386PEXP installer don't care if we use either /noreboot or noreboot: in [settings]in both case check box is selectedbut if we use /makelocalsource without the : the check box is unselected in winnt32.exe parametersCan you remove this little bug in the next version ?
jdgordon Posted August 18, 2004 Author Posted August 18, 2004 i can add an option to the ini to show the confirm window...i also noticed the : after the makelocalsouce switch and ive fixed it... i hope to eventually add sp2 support (the firewall stuff),hopefully ill do it soon, but i dunno....i want to add guirunonce support but not sure the best way to do it...
Bilou_Gateux Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 OK for the option (show confirmation) set in the ini file.More easy to use than a switch for a program with a GUI.
Jazkal Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 If I could add a suggestion. In addition to adding the GUIRunOnce section, please also add this section:[setupParams]UserExecute=These run at two different times durring the install. Me personally, i use this one all the time, GUIRunOnce almost never.Thanksi want to add guirunonce support but not sure the best way to do it...Could you put a textbox, and if anything is entered, it updates the sif file?
