July 8, 200224 yr thanks for that info but me being the dumb-est one here to hard to read! and understand.black war could you help me as you helped me last time.i don't really understand what part you don't get...I mean its pretty explicit, explains comprehensively...I never changed my boot screen before, but anyway, here goesFirst you need to download a bootscreen from a place like http://www.themexp.org , then you extract the file you got. From the file extracted, you should find an executable file, which is usually named to "ntoskrnl.exe" but sometimes they change it...what you do is you copy that, then navigate into your C:\Windows\system32 directory, where you will find a Ntoskrnl.exe in there also. You need to rename that one to something like "ntoskrnl'bak" to keep a backup, then paste the one you had copied..By this time, you should have the ntoskrnl.exe you copied from the zip file in your C:\Windows\system32 directory, and the file name has to be ntoskrnl.exe.After you have done that, you just restart your computer and you should see your new boot screen..I hope that helps,Blackwar
