Converting *.avi to *.gif

HI I need the *.avi from the Microsoft bliss screensaver (which can be found here) converted to a *.gif. Could anyone do that?

I belive Gif Construction Set from Alchemy Mindworks will do this...

It says it will convert gif to avi but not the other way.

Whenever I try to open it to convert it it says "There was an error reading the file" or it says "There is no driver installed".

Does anyone know of any other way of doing this?
