Adding DialUp problems

not sure if this is the right subforum for this question, but please move me to the correct one if I'm wrong.

When I add a dialup connection in I.E, it seems like the default connection is automatically changed to dialup. This I don't want, I just want to add a dialup connection but keep my default to LAN.

Does anyone know how this can be achieved?

What is the problem?

If you have an established LAN internet connection, IE don't runs Dialup. It only trys dialup if LAN is offline.

The problem is that when you add a dial up connection, that becomes the default connection instead of the LAN connection.

I.e I have the option to "never dial a connection", and then I add a new dialup connection, the option switches to dial with the new connection instead of stay at "never dial a connection"

just change it back to never dial a connection, and run the network wizard telling it you connect through a LAN to access the internet... that way the default will be LAN and if you want you can dialup and it will use that instead
