I want to establish a connection with the two systems. All the systems are connected to the server . I want to connect the two systems. This two have windows 2000 professional installed and also Redhat linux 9.1On two win98 systems i connected using network neighbourhood. How can i connect this two win2k systems.
XtremeMaC Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 direct cable? slow cross cable? 10/100/1000mbit depends on ethernet cards firewire cable? 400/800mbit more expensive pick one
LaRcOs Posted June 11, 2004 Posted June 11, 2004 Id agree with XtremeMaC on that one -there are plenty of options. All depends on types of cards etc.Just make sure they're all sitting in the same WORKGROUP/DOMAIN.
sunil21 Posted June 12, 2004 Author Posted June 12, 2004 speed is not what i am concerned about What i want is data transfer.i almost connected using telnet. Is there any facility like remote desktop connection(?)**ok i want a gui interface like network neighbourhood. But here i have two win2k systems not win9x
