Spybot found dozens of cookies, registry entries, and weird .dll files that Ad-aware didn't catch.

It took less time to search my system with Spybot than it did with Ad-aware.

Spybot provides an obvious warning that deleting some files may cause freeware to no longer function.

Spybot lets you recover files you've deleted.

Spybot is free and contains no ads. Please donate if you have the means.

The Spybot helpfile contains a list of spybots and adbots with some explanation so you can understand what you're deleting and what you're keeping.

The not-so-good

Spybot located many missing helpfiles. It then gave me the option to "ignore" or "delete," but it didn't give me the option to "ignore all" or "delete all." My clicking finger got tired after a while.
