every folder opens in a new window even though its set to use the same window for each folder in folder options

what does the open cammand use anyways?

i set it to explorer.exe because it was gone and at first it was opening the folders with command proubt which is very odd...it did this all by itself...my computer was turned off for a week and i just turned it on and tryied to open a folder

oh well didnt really want to do that but oh well took me back three weeks but oh well...off to reinstall some 25 appz again

you had to restore back to three weeks? why?

AFAIK, System restore makes a restore point every day, so you should have been able to restore it to the last time you used your computer (1 week ago)

yea it didnt make a restore point for some reason

just turned the % up on it

it was 20 days ago and was the last restore point called

well i dont know but that was a b***h seeing how i still have a few appz to reinstall since all the reg. entires got deleted...lucky i had burned everything before i left for awhile

Glad you fixed the prob but you sure that no-one used your comp? I dont believe your comp would do this with it being turned off... Weird if it did though.

i know because no one was here and for them to tough it they would have to have three keps the alarm code get past my three dogs not get shot by next door budies and then hack into my computer when they finally make it into my room
