paul3vanz
Alcohol 120% v1.9.2.1705Inc. Registration & Settingsi've seen quite a few people say they're having trouble getting this installed and registered, here's my switches and reg files for you to use.it installs it silently, registers it, and inputs my default settings, which include taking the virtual drive off by default, as any average home user might not understand what it is.setup.exe /qn Reboot=Suppress[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Alcohol Soft\Alcohol 120%\Info]"UserName"="Home User""Company"="Home""SerialNo"="ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ"Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Alcohol Soft\Alcohol 120%\Basic]"WindowState"="0""NativeDeviceContrl"="1""Use WinAspi First"="0""Disable Ignore Media Type"="1""One Instance Only"="0""Auto Check New Version"="0""Double Click Mount"="0""Virtual Device Count"="0"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Alcohol Soft\Alcohol 120%\Basic\UI]"Autostartup"="0""Enabled Autorun"="1""Enabled Screen Saver"="1""Taskbar"="1""System tray"="0""Taskbar and System tray"="0""Tray Icon"="0""Fullscreen"="0""Delete before import"="1""NotifyVanishedFileInList"="0""Exit Program"="0""Minimize Main Window"="1""Physical Device First"="1"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Alcohol Soft\Alcohol 120%\ImageMaker]"Default A.S.S. XtremeMaC
u don't really need the info after the registration...other than that I'm sure its very usefull for most ppl.did u write that alhabet? or did u copy and paste it from somewhere? anyways since ppl now are using lots of msi editorsppl could easily integrate that registry key into the msi. that's how I use it.well if those settings are the same with paul3vanz, u could even put them into the msi as wellow msi, just click on the setup exe and it will extract the msi... paul3vanz
thats interesting XtremeMaC, i've not tried an MSI editor yet. i use INNO setup for my custom installs. is it possible to edit the MSI in Alcohol 120% that has already been created? or are they protected.i wasn't clear before about those other reg settings, but i thought people might like them if they want to disable the virtual drive and/or tweak the default settings. XtremeMaC
they're are not protected as a matter of fact I haven't seen any msi that's protectedthe program executable itself puts on the protectionso if u enter a wrong key its going to work in demo mode.. If in install alcohol from a batch file under winnt.sif, seems to work great, but if i use RunOnceEx.cmd from cmdlines.txtIt stops and brings up that wizaed, if i cancel it all is ok, i install daemon tools as well so i dont need the virtual drive from alcohol. Thanks again!!!
