because wen i copy and past a folder and a jpg or a bmp in a folder

windows always sets image view on

what i mean is i want icons no preview im my maps

you could use a registry monitor like RegSnap or RegShot to make your own registry tweak, then you can post it in the registry tweaks topic

all you do is take a snapshot of the default, then, change the setting to exactly how you want it and take a second snapshot... it will give you a registry file with the changes
