June 3, 200422 yr To completely remove or hide the taskbar you have to modify the windows shell. There are small programs out there that will remove the task bar when ran. But brings it back when exited. Could download one of those and put in the registry to run on startup. As far as modifying the shell, it is a little more complicated.
June 3, 200422 yr there's a program called TweakPower. it let's you set the transparency degree of the taskbar. you can set it to 0 with it and the taskbar's gone. the taskbar stays removed even if the program is closed so you might wanna give it a try. the program is in german, so here's how to manage it:after you started it click on "windows" on the left side, then on "desktopdarstellung".in the mainwindow click on "effekte" and move the slidebar to the left. the effect will appear immediately
