aKaFrEE Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 I just finished reloading 2 of my workstations and as the anti-virus they use Symantec Antivirus Corporate 8. I've never had any problems before but now when i click the "live update" button on either of them, nothing happens. So for now the only way to update the virus definitions is to manually download them. Any ideas?

aKaFrEE Posted June 2, 2004 Author Posted June 2, 2004 i chose unmanaged, because we dont have a server set up for it. i've even gone as far as uninstalling and reinstalling, but no luck.

Now when i press the live update button it opens, but when i press start i get the following message:Initializing...Unable to connect to host LU1814: LiveUpdate could not retrieve the catalog file of available Symantec product and component updates. Please verify that you are able to connect to the Internet and run LiveUpdate again.LiveUpdate session is complete.
