Hi!

I'm trying to make an Unattended-XP-installation CD. But I've got problems with my webcam driver, named "Logitech QuickCam Zoom v8.20".

I managed to make a mst-file which tells the installation routine to change the default installation folder and so on. (Although there can't be configured really much.) And everything works fine except two annoying things:

- I can't suppress the reboot at the end of the installation :D In the mst-file I defined a new property "Reboot=ReallySuppress", but this doesn't have to seem any effect.

- After the reboot when loggin on a configuration wizard for the camera is started. Does anybody happen to know where it stores the configuration data, so that I could import it in the registry?

Maybe anyone has experience with that, maybe I'm doing something wrong. :) I searched the forum for some hints but didn't find any.

Thanks & regards!

Hey,

as i see it, u have 2 options, if in fact there is no reboot supress feature, try this

click the InstallRight link in my signature, download it, and install your camera driver using it, be sure at the end 2 choose silent install & no reboots

InstallRight will allow u 2 install any application unattended & it will disable reboots

the other way is 2 place your camera driver as the LAST thing in your batch file, so it will just restart then (which might cause some trouble, as i like 2 fully let my shell open b4 rebooting)

hope this helps :)

Hi MCT!

Sorry for the delay and thanks for ya hint! :) I'll try that little tool when there's more time for me. But I guess it'll solve my problem.
