DemolitionMan Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 Hi everyone; My Question is, is it possible to create a Bootable Windows XP SP1a with the latest updates!! For example:I have downloaded all the updates, which came alle after the Service pack 1a.Is it possible, I think it is called slipstreamming, those updates into the already slipstreamed Win Xp sp1 cd (Folder). So that I don't have to install all the updates seperately, after the installation of Windows XP SP1a. I have already read the webpage for creating a Multi-boot DVDThanks to gosh from the MSFN forums, I have discovered a much better way to obtain the boot files. While this method is a slight pain, it ensures that everyone has the proper boot files for their DVD. Go to Start -> Run and type or paste the following command with the correct drive letter of course:D:\AIO-DVD\SETUP\XP\Professional\i386\winnt32.exe /norebootWindows XP setup should come up. Choose "New Installation" and go through the options as usual. Do NOT download updated setup files. At the "Setup Options" screen, click on "Advanced Options" and make sure "copy all installation files from the CD" is checked. If it is grayed out don't worry about it.Do NOT download updated setup files. If did understand correctly this would be a non-updated Windows XP version, am I correct or wrong??Hope someone can help and answer maybe my stupid question?? Thank you very much
