what is I.T courses all about

i was hoping if anybody can give me some advice?

and tell me what is I.T all about?

What should i read books about I.T?

What should i know about I.T?

What should i use OS or platform like SERVER and WORKSTATION?

What should i learned about programming should i learn

how to program application or web application instead?

What should i learn about mobile telecomunication?

should i learn wireless protocol or should i study about satellite tech.?

What technology software should i use and learn?

should i learn more on ORACLE, peoplesoft, macromedia, COBOL DATABASE, PHP, ASP, CONGOS

CGI, PERL Visual Studio 6 or .NET SQL, UNIX, LINUX mandrake,redhat, debian, turbo etc...

and what product should i use should i use product of Microsoft, SUN microsystem, ORACLE, IBM

or LINUX to run my company for example

should i learn more on programming?

should i learn more information resources?

should i learn more how to manage system telecomunication?

should i learn more about transaction

should i learn more on hardware device or know how to program it such as video display tech?

should i learn more on networking?

i know partial of this technology but never been try yet or use them before and i never been

programm such as huge application?

all of this i want to learn but i want to know what is I.T all about

learning is so much fun i belive that knowledge is so powerful that other..

can anyone help me pls.... don't know wer to start?

well.. IT covers a lot of things.. and many jobs for that matter.. what are you more interested in? Making your own programs? Building a pc? Troubleshooting? Networking? etc etc

That would narrow it down to what you would or should do to get more knowledge and even a better job!

well i love 2 learn everything but one i didn't start yet is programming i don't know what is the common application or

developer use in I.T or for most company or working project isn't ORACLE, or microsoft product maybe SUn microsystem don't know

i don't have concentrated study i love to learn all and keep updating!and what security software or device they use in network transaction

specialy in mobile network? something like that!?although i know little programming such as Visual basic, HTML, little about C++

but i never start like PHP, ASP, CGI, PERL and other web programming i love also making application but one of my target is web programming!

but already started like system and network administrator troubleshooting device such desktop pc network hub software

OS giving a solution what to use something like that! but just little knowledge about it etc... do you think i'm one step ahead of I.T?

but i prefer my self to learn everything that i can such mainframe

holographic computers hehe.. on the fifth generation of computers

is that possible!?

i'm just wondering if what is the common platform os mostly company

use or developer product and there equipment?

and i was hoping if i can find study material hir! such as

ebook or video training about I.T

or how to become successful in I.T field? what should study

and concentrate most!

well it seems your interested in troubleshooting and network administration.. stuff like troubleshooting would be more of doing your basic (not sure if you have this as i dont know whats for all countries) Certificate II Information Technology which covers the basics, use of Microsoft Office like databases, word processing, desktop publishing etc.. Then from there, you should have a choice of Certificate III Information Technology(PC Support) which is troubleshooting.. also if your interested in fixing computers as well, highly recommended you would study for your A+ Certification which is to do mainly with the In's and Out's of components of computers and puting them together properly.. that certificate is world recognized which means you could work anywhere in the world with that qualification... For network adminstration, theres probably two well known things you could do, theres your basic adminstration of a simple network on windows operating systems, so that would be doing courses Certificate II,III(Basic),IV (Network) and perhaps even a diploma of Information Tech.. or if you want to do what most big businesses run, that would be doing and study CISCO, which is very good and you can make a lot of money of that.. most of these things you can find simply googling the web on google.com to study but of course, if you want to be recognized you would need to go back to school ..
