slettebo Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 Right Click on the desktop, select "Properties", select menu item "Desktop", Select "Background=None" and chose the color in the palette on the same dialogbox...This is very basic
snublermedstil Posted May 19, 2004 Author Posted May 19, 2004 Sorry i haven't explained me correct.I mean width a reg-key or policy
dsmit221 Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 You would have to edit a number of Registry Keys and only for the current user so it might be a good idea to do this in Default User...'HKCU\Control Panel\Colors\Background' - Set this value to the colour required'HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\Wallpaper' - Remove this valueWith regards to locking this down the only way I know would be to remove the tabs for Desktop, etc from Display properties...Hope this helps
Godfatha Posted May 21, 2004 Posted May 21, 2004 Configure your whole Desktop, save the Desktop Theme file. On your windows installation you create that Folder: $oem$\$$\Resources\ThemesIn it you copy your theme file. Then you change your Winnt.sif like that:[shell] CustomDefaultThemeFile = "%SystemRoot%\Resources\Themes\Standard.theme"just add those two to the end of your file. Then burn the cd and install from it, after the setup windows should look exactly the way you saved it before.
