If I copy all the files to one map, the installation stop's and ask for disk2 (I hav tryed making maps like DISK1 DISK2 ... I am not sure if you have stripped of ms-access, helpfiles or clipart. But who is using msacces? In my department 1 out of 100 is using msaccess, so i install it manual to thise persons.. hope it helps...

net use do not use name-server-request, and that is the problem. I have mapped a domain-name to a IP, and use tcpdump on my share-box to listen to traffic on udp-port 53. No traffic is generated by net use command.

The net use command is missing som feature that i need. I see that is possible to map any netbios name with share or IP with share, but it is impossible to map a domain-name with share. Net use works with this syntax: net use * \\IP\share password /user:username and net use * \\NetBiosName\share password /user:username but not this: net use * \\host.domain.com\share password /user:username Is there any powertool i can use to make this possible. I am installing unattended software from many places in my network and i need to install application from a station that is mapped to a network share from a host.domain.com Any who know? (sorry my bad english)

Is it possible to detect witch drive letter the DVD Drive uses.. eg. The envirement variable for the system drive is %systemdrive%. Is there a variable for the DVD Drive or a great script that can find it.
