Orsi Posted May 8, 2004 Posted May 8, 2004 Hey there, I'm building a website and there's one last thing left to do.in website's left side there's a main menu, in the center the main pages and in the right side I want to build a DHTML menu. This last shall be a graphical menu that must roll to its place only after the visitor click in one of the main menu. And all the main menu button's must open a diferent menu on the right side.So I need some way to hide the right menus (using z-index I guess) and after the click make it appear on the right top of the page and scroll down only in the Y axis until its place. Can someone help me with this?
XtremeMaC Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 how about using flash? or swift3d or swishmax they look nicer
MadGutts Posted June 17, 2004 Posted June 17, 2004 Flash is a nice way of doing animated menus, however, the file sizes are quite large. There are some DHTML scripts here on Dynamic Drive This is a very good site for free code....If that doesn't help, then there is a DHTML menu from Orange Box - dunno if they still exist ! but ripped the code and edited the images and use it on my test site....So either option is viable.... Its up to you which you got for, i can recomend both, but if you dont know flash then the DHTML is faily easy....Hope this helps !!!!
