Problem with XP SP2

Hi all.. i have a small tiny miny peoblem wich is , after installing the sp2 for windows XP , the windows stoped working . in other words when I switch on the computer and choose the windows XP from the OS menu ( Thank GOD i have another OS in the computer wich is windows 2000))). it starts and I can see the windows logo and the bar in the bottom, then the computer restats itself>>>> pls help me what should i do to start the windows>>>>>

How far does it actually bootup? I know if you have a illegal or generated product key, it will ask you to enter a valid product key and if you don't you will be locked out, if this is the case get a valid key. If this is NOT the case try hitting F8 while windows is booting and select SAFEMODE from the options, try to see if there are any major problems with HW compatability etc. If all else fails, and you can get in SAFEMODE, uninstall the SP. HTH
