WindowsXP Fonts, which are..

It's hard to say really. It depends on what applications you have and which fonts they use. The recommended method of uninstalling fonts is dragging them out of the fonts folder and storing them in another. This will allow you to easily restore your fonts incase you uninstall an essential font. I would say definitely keep arial, verdana, Times new Roman, courier fonts, serif/sans-serif fonts. Possibly others.

Okay, just removed some fonts and tested in VirtualPC:

No problems!

These fonts I kept:

times.ttf

verdana.ttf

vgafix.fon

vgaoem.fon

vgasys.fon

webdings.ttf

wingding.ttf

wst_engl.fon

I now only got 29 fonts, instead of 180!! on a normal (unattended) XP.
