How do I mod VxKex to work with Windows 8.x?

I wanted to install something on Windows 8.1 that required 10 or 11, so I installed VxKex, thinking that would work. It didn't, and the devs said it was for Windows 7 only. I saw a thread on this site by a user saying they were gonna make a Windows 8.x Kernel Extender. 2 years later, it still hasn't released. Does anyone know of a method to mod VxKex to work with Windows 8.1? Thanks.

The newest versions of Vxkex Next has introduced experimental support for Win8/win8.1.

There is a project called second system, it's made by win32 on his patreon and the support is not experimental
