legacyfan Posted October 6 Posted October 6 (edited) it's been reported quite a bit over the past few years of the trials of getting vista working on 4th gen hadware and the problems of attempting to use it and more research needs done into this but is there a possible fix or workaround being worked on for this issue? as it's not been discussed in full since 2016 and it would be nice to have an option to get it working Edited November 1 by legacyfan
Brickedandroid Posted October 7 Posted October 7 It's only fixed in 12th gen onwards, with E and P cores 1
Vista4Life Posted October 30 Posted October 30 If you really want to use Vista on 4th gen Intel hardware, you could use the 32-bit edition which is not affected by the bug and works just fine. Although it limits you to just 3.5GB's of RAM. 1
