I have a ASUS GL752VW, it seems there's only drivers for Windows 10, could SDIO work?

I have been researching here and there about installing 7 on this older laptop that has a 960M and a 6700HQ (Should find drivers just fine)

But apparently the touchpad driver and many other things may just not work since there aren't any.

It probably uses the I2C bus, so you can't see the touchpad. I don't remember if there is a driver for 6th generation processors. Write the IDs of unknown devices in Device Manager. Try SDIO, just don't install the I2C drivers from Windows 8 and 10, they drop Windows 7 into a BSOD.
