Featured Replies

Hello i currently have a pretty modern pc i'd like to attempt to get windows 7 on i have booted into the installer just to see if it boots and it does (CSM boot only)

Just wanting to verify i can get things working before i install

Motherboard: ASRock B760M-C/D4

Ram: 32GB DDR4 2133MHz (4x 8GB DDR4)

CPU: 13th Gen i5-13400F 2.5Ghz 10 cores 16 threads

GPU: RTX 4060 8GB

Storage: 2x  1TB M.2 / NVme SSD's and 1x 2TB SATA SSD

Ethernet: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I219-V

Wi-Fi: Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168

BT: Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R)

Audio: High Definition Audio Device

If you successfully installed Windows 7 on the motherboard. You have to face the fact that no device drivers available for Windows 7.

RTX 4060 only has DCH driver which  requires Windows 10 x64 1803 or later.

I219-V has 27 variations, but Windows 7 driver only supports 7 variations.

Only Realtek HDA has no problem.

You need to give us the device ID.

Yes! You should do just that and get full graphics on Windows 7, since it is supported. There might be a slight bottleneck though.
