What can i do, because when changing the picture of ntoskrnl and others it causes these problems (install CD)

When changing ntoskrnl.exe and others it shows incorrect colors it just revert back to normal the win XP logo don't show at all when the incorrect color thing happen and the incorrect color occurs only for the text in Bitmap1 the 640x320 black image, i put a white text and it shows throught the screen and back like when you go through the screen in snake (Nokia game), i tried painting the image with the right color palette, it don't work, please help:}

For testing i use Vmware and virtualbox
