trancer03 Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 (edited) My Vista x64 computer won't go to sleep while idling with any setting above 15min! It does it just fine with 15min setting and anything below it, but I need to make it sleep after 45min of inactivity. The screen turns off perfectly fine, but computer keeps running after time runs out! I also thought that Security Task Manager software from Microsoft that let's you block keyboard, mouse and other activity monitoring (like key and activity logger) could affect that, but when I turn the monitoring back on, it doesn't make a difference! jaclaz Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 I have not much experience with these settings, but I remember how sleep on Vista and 7 can be troublesome. Have you already gone through the steps proposed here?: https://www.vistax64.com/threads/power-options-and-sleep-mode-problems.63567/ 1

trancer03 Posted February 12, 2024 Author Posted February 12, 2024 I think it's an attack because it did go to sleep last night, but it won't again today!
