How u over clock a pentium 4 2.8ghz

I was thinking of renstalling my pc but with windows xp home and pro then my m8 said he could over clock it abit like 1 or 2 so makes mine mabey 2.82ghz or somthing like that and he said he dont realy no how to do it with a pentium Processor any of u guys no how to do it plz post
