Hello, I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate on my PC and I would like to make a restore point or a copy of the system on CD(s)/DVD(s). I've seen that there is an option to make a restore point and another option to save your files on DVDs. However, I already have backups of my files, so I just want to backup the system (Windows, my drivers, my programs etc...) or make a "portable" restore point. So if one day I have a problem, I would just have to insert the disc, restore the system and everything sould be up and running again (whithout in theory file lost because system restore claims to touch only system files and not personal files).

So, is that possible (even if I have to use third party programs) ?

Well, if it's impossible to do this I think i will just make an image of my system using the included tool.
