Settings resetting

Hey guys,

For some reason at random intervals one of my setting keeps resetting to its default value.

The one setting where my cursor is on the attahced picture is the specific one that keeps being checked when I want it unchecked.

Is there a way to fix this? My first thought was to find a config file and make it read-only but I couldn't find one :/
