Sfor Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 I'm trying to install a 64 bit version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in Windows 7 x64. But, if Windows 7 is selected, there is no x64 version available. I can download just the x32 version. It seems at least Windows 10 has to be selected for the x64 to be available. Also, the x64 is not available if "All languages MUI" is not selected. Can I install a version intended for Windows 10 x64 in Windows 7 x64?
Sergiaws Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 some Windows 10 apps can work in Windows 7, but not all since some apps are UWP or call to functions which don't exist in Windows 7. Don't know if Windows 8.1 version could be installed and it is x64.
Sfor Posted September 8, 2022 Author Posted September 8, 2022 No, there is no x64 version for Windows 8, apparently. Also, the selection seems to be different in x32 and x64 windows versions. I found no "All languages MUI" option, in Firefox Windows 7 x32. - Windows 7 x32 - Firefox - in Windows 10, after selecting language there is x64 version available, also there is no "All languages MUI" option. - Windows 7 x64 - Firefox - in Windows 10, after selecting some language there is no x64 version available, it is necesary to select "All languages MUI" option, then a x64 version option will appear.
