United States vs. Google antitrust suit

Featured Replies

This is a really big story, for example https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/20/technology/google-antitrust.html.

Of course the European Union has already taken action against Google, but nothing comparable has happened in the United States since the antitrust suit against Microsoft more than 20 years ago. Granted, the timing might be seen as political; but let’s try to avoid political commentary here.

Yesterday’s articles seem to make no mention of Google’s browser dominance, but earlier articles have suggested that Chrome might be a target, for example

https://www.techspot.com/news/87071-doj-targets-chrome-over-probable-google-antitrust-violations.html.
